«We have no water in our new building at Issy Pliev, 6, since Saturday. Rumor has it that risers froze in about 15 buildings. And these are residential buildings where people have already moved in,» the residents complain. «We all call the management company, they say they are heating the pipes in the basement, but in fact — it»s already Wednesday, and still no water. Yesterday they said they were hanging convector heaters, although I was told about this on Monday, and some neighbors — even on Sunday.«

In the building«s chat, people are sharing life hacks on how to thaw pipes. In particular, they recommend using a hair dryer, whether it»s a construction or hairdressing one, and a corrugated hose to direct warm air to the spot where the pipe might be frozen.

The management company confirmed the emergency situation, assuring that they are taking all measures to restore water to people:

«We are thawing the water, additionally installed heaters, heating, it just takes time. Previous winters were warm, and now we have this little problem. The water should start flowing now. People can be understood. One evening we thawed it, at night it froze again. We know everything, we are working, we won»t abandon anyone, don«t worry. We»ll help everyone as much as we can.«
