Ulyanovsk news: Mouse fever, internet outages, grid failure

Over the past week, a series of events occurred in Ulyanovsk that affected the interests of many residents. We recall the main ones.

Mouse Fever

Since the beginning of the year, three residents of the region have died from hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome. Most cases of the dangerous disease were reported in the Melekessky district. Read more about how the regional authorities plan to address the situation here.

Internet Outages

Throughout the week, mobile internet was cut off almost every day in Ulyanovsk Oblast due to the «unmanned danger» regime. Residents experienced numerous inconveniences. Only websites from the «white list» worked more or less stably. Read more about this here.

City Power Grid Collapse

The year began for MUP «UlGES» (Municipal Unitary Enterprise Ulyanovsk Grid) with the loss of its status as a territorial grid organization.
