Ufa Residents Protest Low Compensation for House Demolitions to Build High-Rises
The community is split between those wanting to stay in their homes and those opting for compensation to move away.
Readers of UFA1.RU have supported the owners of private houses in the Yuryuzan microdistrict, where large-scale development is planned. Recall that many do not want to leave and are counting on the project«s cancellation. However, there are those who do not object to leaving, after receiving monetary compensation. «I live there, half the street was demolished at the end of 2025. No one is offended, everyone was satisfied,» assures a site visitor.
«They should even thank the developer for deciding to demolish the old stuff!» declares a second.
«Far from everyone has old houses! — objects a third. — And living in your own house is much better than in an apartment! With flowers and cucumbers, if you want barbecue— please, no need for a dacha, if you want— heat up the sauna, if you want— sunbathe in the yard, it»s definitely better than in a concrete cage!«
