Tyumen Trio Killed in War: Officer, Ex-Official, Soldier

In the course of the special military operation, three servicemen from Tyumen Region were killed. Information about them was disseminated by regional departments and all-Russian organizations. Among the dead are a former employee of the agro-industrial complex department and the head of the specialized group for voluntary training «Varyag».
The death of Mikhail Kugaevsky was reported by the Yunarmiya movement. His farewell took place on January 26. The obituary states: «Mikhail Sergeyevich graduated in 1998 from the Tyumen Higher Military Engineering Command School named after Marshal of Engineering Troops A.I. Proshlyakov with the rank of lieutenant. After completing his studies, he was sent to the Far East, where he served for 13 years. As the head of the specialized group for voluntary preparation for military service »Varyag«, Mikhail Sergeyevich was a bright example of courage; cadets always gladly attended classes, and some of them firmly linked their lives with military service.» In 2022, Kugaevsky went to the SMO zone and was awarded the Zhukov Medal.
The second deceased was Vasily Fefelov, who previously worked in the agro-industrial complex department of Tyumen Region. Former colleagues published an obituary, which says: «On January 13, 2026, while fulfilling his military duty in the course of the special military operation, Vasily Viktorovich Fefelov tragically died. A graduate of the agricultural academy, a former employee of the Agro-Industrial Complex Department of Tyumen Region, working in the livestock department, he contributed to the development of agriculture in his native land.» Fefelov was engaged in charity, providing assistance to orphanages. The farewell ceremony took place on January 27 in the mourning hall of the Tyumen Crematorium.
The third victim was 21-year-old Renat Galyamov from the village of Nizhnyaya Tavda. The local administration reported: «Renat Galyamov was born on June 28, 2004 in the village of Nizhnyaya Tavda. He studied at the Nizhnetavdinskaya School, at the GAPOU TO »Agrotechnological College«. In June 2025, he decided to serve in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation under contract. He lived and worked in the village.» Galyamov died on July 21, 2025 near the settlement of Belgiyka in the course of combat operations.
