Tula Region drivers warned of snow, ice, and strong winds

Drivers in Tula Region have been warned of difficult weather conditions on the roads over the next 24 hours. According to the regional State Traffic Inspectorate, worsening conditions are expected from the evening of January 26 and will persist until the evening of January 27.
From 21:00 on January 26 to 21:00 on January 27, snow and icy roads are forecast in parts of the region. At night, air temperatures may drop to −17 degrees Celsius (1°F). Meteorologists also expect strengthening winds, with gusts reaching 15 meters per second.
The department notes that such weather can complicate road conditions and increase the risk of accidents. Motorists are advised to choose a safe speed, increase the distance to the vehicle ahead, maintain lateral spacing, and be especially attentive on bridges, overpasses, and sections where ice may form.
