Tuberculosis Found in Employee at St. Petersburg School
The employee of the educational institution has not been in contact with children since October, and the detected form of the disease is non-contagious.

A case of tuberculosis has been detected in an employee at School No. 213 in the Frunzensky District of St. Petersburg. This was reported on February 3 by the press service of the district administration, noting that there is no danger to students.
The employee of the educational institution has been on sick leave since October of last year and has not communicated with children or teachers. The final diagnosis from the tuberculosis dispensary was received only in January.
«A contact group was identified, tests were conducted. All tests are clean,» stated the press service.
A parent meeting was held at the school, where teachers explained the situation. The premises of the educational institution were disinfected. The city health committee clarified that the form of tuberculosis detected in the employee is non-contagious.
Earlier, at the end of January, tuberculosis was found in a dishwasher in the cafeteria of School No. 575 in the Primorsky District of St. Petersburg.
