Donald Trump showed noticeably swollen ankles while descending the stairs from Air Force One after a weekend at his Mar-a-Lago club. As media reports, his movements seemed unsteady, heightening concerns about his well-being.

Footage of his arrival in Washington shows the 79-year-old president, dressed in a black coat and a cap with «USA» on it, walking cautiously, gripping the handrail tightly and looking at his feet. His dark trousers outlined the swollen ankles, especially the left one, which appeared significantly larger than the right under the light and wind.

Social media users immediately reacted to the video, noting that Trump looked «unsteady» on the steps. This is not the first time his descent from a plane has drawn attention: he previously admitted that he fears falling down stairs.

Amid growing attention to Trump«s health, including reports of unusual bruises on his arms and difficulties with concentration, the White House stated that the president has been diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency. This condition causes blood to pool in the legs due to poor circulation.

Trump«s leg swelling has already been in the spotlight on the international stage. In January at the World Economic Forum in Davos, during a conversation with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, his pulled-up trousers revealed swollen lower legs.

Trump himself admitted in a recent interview that he ignores doctors« recommendations. He said he does not wear compression socks because he »doesn«t like them,» and he takes a high dose of aspirin daily despite medical advice. «They say aspirin thins the blood, and I don»t want thick blood flowing through my heart,« explained the former reality TV star.
