Tomsk students offered free tram and trolley rides

On Tatiana«s Day, Tomsk students will be able to ride trams and trolleybuses for free. To do so, they simply need to show their student ID, the press service of the Tomsk mayor»s office reported.

«We are holding the promotion for the second time, last year it received a lot of positive feedback. We congratulate students on the past exam session and their »professional« holiday,» said Deputy Mayor and Head of the Department of Municipal Services Dmitry Putrov.

In addition, on Tatiana«s Day, the »Student, Catch the Moment« promotion will take place, allowing students to visit sports facilities for free or at a discount. The main requirement is to present a student ID.

The pools «Politechnik», «Kedr», and «Aquatika» will participate in the promotion.

Cross-country skis will be available for free rental at the following bases: 19th Guards Division Street, 20/1; «Metelitsa»; «Kedr»; and «Sosnovy Bor». Ice skates can be rented for free at «Kedr»; «Sosnovy Bor»; the rink at Irkutsk Tract, 86/3; the «Beloye Ozero» recreation park; «Avangard»; the «Under the Starry Sky» ice rink; the City Garden; and at Lake Mavlyukeyevskoye.

A 50% discount on equipment rental will be available at the skating rinks at: 6 Energetikov Street; 8/2 Fyodor Lytkin Street; 122 Krasnoarmeyskaya Street; «Yunost» (50 Karl Marx Street); and Lyceum No. 7 (12 Internationalistov Street).

Students will also be able to use the gyms at «Aquatika» and «Meteor».
