Tomsk Contractor Added to Unscrupulous Suppliers Register

The Tomsk Region office of the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) has added the company «Bizbrand-Siberia» LLC to the register of unscrupulous suppliers. The firm failed to complete work on seven contracts totaling over 20 million rubles (approximately $220,000 at current rates).
According to Kontur.Fokus, the general director of Bizbrand-Siberia is Konstantin Ivanov. As of the end of 2024, the company«s revenue was 44.6 million rubles (approximately $491,000 at current rates), with a net profit of 10.8 million rubles (approximately $119,000 at current rates).
«Tomsk FAS recognized LLC Bizbrand-Siberia as an unscrupulous contractor for seven contracts. The contracts were terminated due to non-completion of work worth over 24 million rubles (approximately $264,000 at current rates), some of which were concluded as part of the national project »Housing and Urban Environment,«» according to a statement from the regional FAS.
The negligent contractor failed to carry out improvement works at the square near the Tomsk Regional Clinical Hospital, Zvyozdny (Star) Park, in the Nauka (Science) microdistrict, the square on Ivanovskogo Street, the territory of a lyceum, and the courtyard of an apartment building.
The agency decided to add Bizbrand-Siberia to the unscrupulous suppliers register seven times. For the next two years, the company will not be able to participate in public procurement.
It is worth adding that specialists from Bizbrand-Siberia were also involved in updating the lighting at White Lake. The lanterns were installed on time, but they remained switched off for a long time. The company explained this by saying that they changed suppliers, so they reordered part of the equipment from another firm. After this, Tomsk Mayor Dmitry Makhinya promised that he would not allow the company to participate in the remaining stages of the improvement works.
