TolyattiAzot Launches 'Chemistry of Good' Grant Competition

The organizers are ready to support initiatives of any format — from educational events to territory improvement.
TolyattiAzot launches the ninth stage of the public initiative program «Chemistry of Good». As part of the charitable competition, projects aimed at developing the social and cultural environment, as well as solving pressing problems of the region where the enterprise operates, will be supported. The application campaign will last until May 31, 2026.
Non-profit, non-governmental and public organizations, charitable foundations, municipal budget institutions, and local self-government bodies operating in the urban district of Tolyatti and the Stavropol municipal district of the Samara region are invited to participate. The grant amount that project authors can apply for ranges from 70,000 rubles (around $778) to 500,000 rubles (around $5,600 at current rates).
The «Chemistry of Good» competition will be held in two stages. First, the expert council of TOAZ will review all submitted applications and determine a shortlist of the best initiatives admitted to in-person defense. Then, during public presentations, participants must prove the relevance, social significance, and scope of their ideas before members of a competent jury: representatives of the administration, company management, and public figures in the relevant field. The results will be summed up by September 1, 2026.
TolyattiAzot«s charitable program has been operating since 2019. As part of the previous eight stages, 90 organizations in the Samara region received grant support from the enterprise totaling about 20 million rubles (around $222,200 at current rates).
The application form, information about the competition procedure, and participation rules are posted on the website of JSC TOAZ.
«The «Chemistry of Good» program helps solve a wide range of tasks in various spheres: education, science, culture, art, physical culture and mass sports. A separate pillar is support for environmental initiatives, volunteer movements, and the development of a comfortable urban environment. TolyattiAzot works in a region that it values, respects, and protects, and the determination of its residents helps strengthen its status through the implementation of promising ideas. Thanks to this approach, new spaces are appearing in the Samara province, inclusive playgrounds are opening, courtyards are being improved, and parents are uniting with children for joint leisure», said Irina Filatova, Director of Public Relations of JSC TOAZ.
