Tambov Oblast to Renovate Three Colleges in 2026
In 2026, Tambov Oblast will completely renovate the buildings of three colleges. The work will be carried out under the federal project «Professionalitet» and the «United Russia» party's people's program.

In 2026, Tambov Oblast will begin major renovations at three colleges, as announced by region head Evgeny Pervyshov. The measures are being implemented under the federal project «Professionalitet» of the national project «Youth and Children», as well as the «United Russia» party«s people»s program.
Academic building of the College of Trade, Public Catering and Service;
Academic building and workshops of the Instrument-Making College;
Dormitory and academic building of the College of Ground Transport Engineering and Technology named after M. S. Solntsev.
These facilities are part of a large-scale federal program to renovate 1,500 educational institutions across Russia. The program is being implemented from 2025 to 2030 by order of President Vladimir Putin.
In 2025, the region already completed renovations at several educational institutions. In particular, the academic building of the College of Ground Transport Engineering and Technology named after M. S. Solntsev in Tambov and the dormitory of the Agrarian-Technological Technical School in Pritambovye (Tambov Oblast) were updated.
The federal project «Professionalitet» is aimed at modernizing the system of secondary vocational education. Its key tasks are to strengthen Russia«s technological sovereignty and train personnel in specialties relevant to the economy.
In Tambov Oblast, 84% of colleges and technical schools are already involved in «Professionalitet», along with 25 partner enterprises. Over 4,500 students are studying under the project«s programs. To connect education with the labor market, each college has career centers overseen by the Base Center based at the regional Center for Advanced Vocational Training. Additionally, students can obtain information about vacancies through the online channel «Work in Tambov».
