Tambov FAS to Examine Prices on Popular Bread
The Tambov Office of the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia (FAS Russia) has begun checking the validity of wholesale prices for bread and bakery products at the direction of the federal center.

The inspection was initiated by the central office of the Federal Antimonopoly Service. The Tambov FAS will assess how legitimately regional market participants set wholesale prices for bread and bakery products made from wheat and rye-wheat flour. The analysis will focus on the financial and economic indicators of bread producers and their sales organizations for 2025. If violations are found, the antimonopoly authority will take appropriate response measures.
