According to media reports, artists SZA and Shaboozey are not in a romantic relationship despite numerous rumors. Sources close to the situation claim that the pair were never romantically involved, and all reports of a past or present romance are completely false. According to their information, there have always been only platonic, friendly relations between the artists.

Rumors began actively spreading in May 2025, when fans suspected their interaction at the American Music Awards ceremony. In September, a wave of speculation resumed after Shaboozey posted and then deleted a selection of photos on social media, which included a video with SZA. A few days later, suspicions were further fueled by a post with the song «Goodbye Horses,» which showed a woman from behind that fans took to be SZA. In November of that year, both artists appeared at the GQ Men of the Year event around the same time, which further stirred conversations.
However, sources insist that there was no romance then and there is none now. Representatives for SZA and Shaboozey were contacted for comment, but as of now, there has been no response.
