Timur Tsechayev, a participant in the special military operation from Volzhsky, Volgograd region, has finally received a land plot that he had been unsuccessfully trying to secure since autumn 2024.
The man applied to the Volzhsky administration for land allocation for farming back in October, but for a year he was refused, citing a lack of available plots.
The breakthrough came after a personal reception by Russian Prosecutor General Alexander Gutsan, which was held in Volgograd in early December.
After hearing Tsechayev«s complaint, Gutsan sharply criticized the inaction of local authorities: »The regional prosecutor needs to look into this. Because the explanations we are now hearing from the executive authorities, concerning that there is no free land, are not entirely true. The saddest thing is that our executive authorities, knowing that people have signed contracts for military service in the special military operation zone, knowing that they are entitled to land allocation, did not even lift a finger.«
The Prosecutor General ordered an inspection to be conducted and ensured the allocation of a suitable plot for the SVO participant.
A month after the appeal, the Prosecutor General«s Office reported that the land issue had been resolved.
Timur Tsechayev recorded a video address in which he said: «I, a participant in the SVO, Tsechayev Timur Alexandrovich, in October 2024, applied to the Volzhsky administration for a land plot. It was not provided to me. For about a year, I was on the waiting list. After appealing to Prosecutor General Alexander Vladimirovich Gutsan at a personal reception, I was provided with a land plot. I thank the prosecutor»s office for their assistance and help.«
