Sverdlovsk residents can register for International Youth Festival
The International Youth Festival will take place in Yekaterinburg from 11 to 17 September 2026, gathering 10,000 participants from 190 countries. Five thousand residents of Sverdlovsk Region will be able to attend for free.

In autumn 2026, the International Youth Festival will be held in Yekaterinburg. The event will bring together 10,000 participants from 190 countries, half of them from Russia and the other half from abroad. Residents of Sverdlovsk Region can attend the festival for free, and registration is now open.
Applications are accepted until 10 August from anyone aged 14 and older. To participate, applicants need to fill out a form and write a motivation essay.
«It is important for us that residents of Sverdlovsk Region become full participants in the International Youth Festival that their region is hosting. They can tell about their land, present ideas, communicate, make friends and useful contacts with young leaders from 190 countries. Yekaterinburg is welcoming the world, and we want Sverdlovsk residents to feel involved in this cultural dialogue,» said Dmitry Ivanov, Director General of the World Youth Festival Directorate.
The festival program includes exhibitions, excursions, cultural and special projects, a gastronomic area, and open meetings with representatives from various fields. Participants who successfully pass the competitive selection will receive free transfer to the venue and personalized accreditation.
