The resident of Strezhevoy, who during President Vladimir Putin«s direct line complained that her large family cannot buy an apartment in the city using the family mortgage, has not yet been helped with purchasing housing. Mayor Valery Denichenko reported this in his Telegram channel.
Recall that Yekaterina Yerastova from Strezhevoy told President Putin during his direct line on December 19 that her family cannot use the family mortgage in Strezhevoy. New houses are not being built in the city, and secondary housing, which also has the benefit in Strezhevoy, does not suit her large family (Yekaterina has three children, — Ed.) in terms of square footage. The Strezhevoy resident asked the president to «expand the family mortgage for families like hers.» Mayor Valery Denichenko of Strezhevoy and the regional governor Vladimir Mazur immediately reacted to Yekaterina«s question during the live broadcast. The former asked the woman to »call him urgently.«
On January 22, Denichenko said in his Telegram channel that there are no special results regarding Yekaterina«s problem yet:
I«ll say directly — there are no special results yet. The government has not yet revised the condition on the age of houses. And there is no guarantee that it will. <…> The situation is under control at the prosecutor»s office, I report weekly on the state of affairs to the deputy governor, we have sent an appeal to the federal deputy.
He also said that he does not yet have an understanding of how many other Strezhevoy families have faced the same problem, but he is ready to meet with each of them personally and discuss all possible options.
