Residents of the Romantika comfort-class residential complex on Professor Kamaya Street in Kazan have been complaining about heating interruptions for the third day. Two female residents told this to a 116.RU correspondent.
Neighbors are actively discussing low radiator temperatures and cold in their homes in a chat. They had the following dialogue:
— «I wonder how they will calculate our heating bill this month, all radiators are open to the max but the coolant entering the apartment is cold,» — wrote a resident.
— «People, do you have heating problems again?» — asked a user.
— «Yes. The radiators are barely warm,» — answered another resident.
— «It«s very cold at home,» — added a woman.
One resident named Darya suggested that the temperature fluctuations were related to a recent accident on a heating main near the Sukonnaya Sloboda metro station, but it turned out that their problem was due to a malfunction at the boiler station — allegedly, the electricity was cut off there and the heating temperature has been lowered throughout the entire area. Residents were informed about this in the residential complex«s information chat on 2 February, but on the 3rd the situation recurred.
«Dear residents, there is again a problem at the Kazenergo boiler station; the heating temperature is lowered throughout the microdistrict. If you see any leaks, report to the dispatcher,» — the management wrote to residents.
Currently, people are warming themselves using stoves and ovens. When the cause of the interruptions will be fixed is unknown.
«The stove, electric burners and oven run 24/7, because I simply don«t know how to keep warm otherwise. We don»t have a thermometer, but if, for example, 18°C (64°F) is considered a comfortable temperature, then I am very uncomfortable. I don«t know how many degrees it is. Here»s a joke I came up with: I don«t really like washing dishes, but in the last three days I»ve come to love it because it warms my hands,» — another resident with a child, Alina, told us.
Reminder: at the end of January, an accident occurred on a heating main near the Sukonnaya Sloboda metro station. Steam enveloped nearby streets and hindered traffic. It resembled the horror film Silent Hill.
