Stavropol Krai Declares Drone Threat Alert for January 21

Authorities in Stavropol Krai have declared a drone danger regime, urging residents to take precautions.
On the evening of January 21, the region was warned of possible drone arrivals. Residents need to take precautions and not go outside.
Governor of the krai Vladimir Vladimirov announced in his Telegram channel that restrictions were introduced at 7:49 PM. During the threat, it is necessary to take shelter in a room with load-bearing walls and away from windows. Do not go out into open spaces on the street or balcony.
Also, do not film or photograph drones — this is strictly prohibited. During the danger, drones may fly over cities and settlements; under no circumstances approach fallen drones or their debris, and if necessary, call the emergency services number 112 — the line operates around the clock.
Recall that on January 14, drones attempted to attack Nevinnomyssk. Air defense systems were activated against them. As a result of the drone crashes, a warehouse on the outskirts of the city and several parked passenger cars caught fire. As Mayor Mikhail Minenkov reported, one of the drones crashed near a residential building on Baumana Street. Residents of nearby buildings were evacuated for safety, and special services began neutralizing the debris, which was successfully completed by midday.
