Stalkers enter the lives of many women. And it«s not always about obsessive suitors. Sometimes stalkers choose as their victims mere enemies: they try to ruin their lives and rejoice when they succeed. In this article, we have collected stories of Tyumen women who have faced this unusual form of violence.

But it didn«t stop at mere »folk creativity«. Stalkers closely monitor the Ishim woman»s blog and at every opportunity sic the child welfare authorities on the young mother.
«Some woman from Ishim filed a report against me saying I live in [squalid] conditions, beat my child, starve her, and don»t clothe her. That I should be urgently stripped of parental rights,« she wrote in her blog.
Another, more prominent blogger from Tyumen — Irina Lillo — also periodically suffers from stalker attacks. She could not fend them off, even while living abroad.
«When we lived in Australia, Ricardo (the blogger»s ex-husband — Editor«s note) and I were called to the school for a talk. The topic of the conversation was pedophilia in the family! Can you imagine the shock and stress we were in? It turned out the summons was based on a tip from a subscriber of my blog,» Irina shared.
According to the blogger, ill-wishers made up all sorts of stories about her family to spite her. Sometimes it went as far as Irina«s relatives.
«On social media, they found Ricardo»s relatives from Chile! They started writing letters to them to extract more information about me. Some of these relatives are elderly, and they didn«t even suspect who was actually writing to them and why. And when we moved to Russia, stalkers used pictures from my stories to find the address of the apartment where we lived. They found it! And then they leaked it online into public access. The leak of the Moscow apartment address accelerated our move to a gated community and prevented the children from finishing the quarter. That»s how we ended up living in an area with around-the-clock security,« the Tyumen woman writes in her blog.
The stalkers remained unpunished. But the Lillo family suffered. This was one of the reasons why, in the end, the three children went to live with their father in Qatar, while Irina herself stayed in Russia.
Model Alena Shishkova also had to worry because of stalkers. Some time ago, she too was afraid to leave the house without security. All because of an obsessive man.
«I have experienced stalking myself. I received messages in my direct messages constantly, every second. The person lived with the certainty that I was his wife. He told everyone about it: the taxi driver, the supermarket cashier… He would walk, film, and comment, addressing me: »My little Alenka, look how the sun shines, look what spring it is, our spring, Alenka, ours with you, my beloved wife.« Then he would send it to me in direct messages. It gave me goosebumps,» the Tyumen woman recalls.
She classified this man as harmless stalking. But there were more dangerous stories.
«There was another, aggressive one. He threatened to kill. Security guards caught him at my door, caught him in the stairwell, watched him pace around the house for hours. Every time I left the apartment it was emotionally uncomfortable. This lack of a sense of security and constant anxiety for myself and my loved ones threw me off balance. It»s unclear what«s on a person»s mind and what he will do next… And the most unpleasant thing is that there is no law that can fully protect you,« Alena shared in her blog.
But there are cases when former lovers become stalkers. Read a similar story with Tyumen woman Natalia Chezganova. She suffered from a man«s stalking for several months.
