In St. Petersburg, sunny days are becoming more frequent, but frosty weather persists for now, creating a truly winter atmosphere.
On Thursday, January 29, residents had to dress warmly due to the cold. At the same time, the sky was almost cloudless, and the sun shone from the very morning.
In some places, light snow is possible. The air temperature remains within minus 9 to minus 11 degrees Celsius (16 to 12°F), and there is ice on the roads.
The last working day of the week, January 30, is expected to be even colder. At night, in some areas, the temperature may drop to minus 20 degrees Celsius (-4°F), and during the day it is forecast to be around minus 12 degrees Celsius (10°F).
For the upcoming weekend, no warming or significant snowfall is expected. Most likely, the weather will be sunny.
