St. Petersburg restores heat after heating main repair
Repair work on the heating main in the Kalininsky District has been completed, and heat supply to homes and a children's hospital has been restored. During the outage, the medical facility used heaters and extra blankets.

Specialists from the St. Petersburg Thermal Energy Company (TEK SPb) have completed repairs on a heating pipeline in the Kalininsky District of St. Petersburg. As a result, heat supply to residential buildings and the Children«s Regional Clinical Hospital on Komsomola Street has been fully restored.
Work at Mineralnaya Street, 23, was completed by 5 a.m. on 5 February. During the repair, about two meters of pipeline and a bellows compensator were replaced.
Due to the heating outage at the children«s hospital during repair work, heaters were installed in the wards and patients were given extra blankets. Heat was supplied to the medical facility through the return pipeline.
Representatives of the thermal energy company visited the hospital and confirmed that the temperature in the rooms met the standard. Now, housing organizations will handle the connection of buildings to the restored heating system.
