In clinics in St. Petersburg, medical workers have begun to be offered ready-made statements for monthly transfers of part of their salaries to the Pobeda fund. A photo of one such document, distributed in the south of the city, was provided by readers on 4 February.
The statement, addressed to the chief physician, requests charitable deductions throughout the entire year 2026 — from January to December. Employees can specify the donation amount themselves, then sign and print their name.
According to medical workers, management recommends that doctors deduct at least 500 rubles (about $6 at current rates) per month, and nurses at least 200 rubles (about $2 at current rates). At the same time, the document is formally voluntary.
The Pobeda fund, whose details are listed in the statement, is registered in St. Petersburg under the leadership of Alexander Ganaev. The owners of the organization are not disclosed in the Spark database. The legal entity was created in 1994.
As of the end of 2024, the fund«s cash flow amounted to 771 million rubles (about $8.6 million at current rates), and net assets reached 21.5 billion rubles (about $239 million at current rates). The fund»s website states that it helps purchase equipment for participants of the SVO, contributes to Russia«s victory, and also assists residents of Mariupol.
