In Tyumen, some citizens receive higher pensions. They are paid from 40,000 rubles ($400) to 133,000 rubles ($1,300). However, as of January 1, the average old-age insurance pension in the region is 28,300 rubles ($283), which is an average increase of 2,000 rubles ($20). The increase affected over 365,000 pensioners, including those who applied for a pension in 2025 but continue to work.

«The highest pensions are received by pensioners from among flight test personnel — this is due to special risks, qualifications, and the specifics of the profession. The average pension in this category is about 133,000 rubles ($1,300). Also, increased payments are due to citizens who worked in the regions of the Far North. Working and living conditions in these regions are taken into account in the calculation. The average pension for northerners is about 40,000 rubles ($400)», — the SFR (Social Fund of Russia) for the Tyumen Region told 72.RU.
