Sparkling toilets appear in Samara — where to find them

New amenities have appeared in Samara. They are designed to make life easier for tourists and city residents. Details were provided by the region«s Ministry of Tourism.
Oh, how it shines!
«On Leningradskaya Street, three all-season pavilions have been installed, where local entrepreneurs sell souvenirs. At the River Station on the embankment, four summer structures have appeared,» said representatives of the department.
The Ministry of Tourism did not forget about toilets either.
«At popular attraction points, four modern sanitary modules have been installed. Each is designed for comfortable service of a large number of people,» officials reported.
Four two-section silver toilets are already operational:
near the River Station;
next to the Literary Square;
in the Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin Square;
a separate modern automated sanitary complex on Leningradskaya.
«In the near future, it is planned to equip each structure with special visual signs with instructions for use, which will make using the infrastructure simple and intuitive for any visitor,» promised the Ministry of Tourism of Samara Oblast.
The tender for the purchase of sanitary cabins was announced by the authorities in July last year. The price of one such toilet (with Wi-Fi, by the way!) amounts to 8,700,000 rubles (approximately $87,000 at current rates).
The department also noted that it carefully considers the needs and comforts of Samara«s residents and guests.
