Sochi promises to complete social housing construction for resettled residents by year-end

Construction progress on the social housing building in Sochi«s Makarenko neighborhood shows 21% physical readiness.
A 100-apartment building for residents resettled from dilapidated and emergency housing is being constructed in the Makarenko neighborhood. Preparatory work at the site has been completed, and the project has received a positive conclusion from the state expert review. Currently, work is underway on piling, reinforcement, and concreting of retaining walls. 35 people and 16 pieces of equipment are involved, according to the press service of the resort city«s administration.
— We are mobilizing city resources, attracting funds from the regional and federal budgets. At the same time, key support is from the administration of Krasnodar Krai. Now, work has entered an active phase on the construction of the social housing building on Vishnevaya Street. The current physical readiness of the facility is 21%, and the contractor confirms commitments to complete construction and installation work in December of this year, — said Sochi Mayor Andrey Proshunin.
In addition, an eleven-story building with 185 apartments is being constructed for residents resettled from dilapidated and emergency housing on Chekhov Street. The facility is planned to be commissioned at the end of 2027. Another social apartment building is intended to be built in Sochi«s mountain cluster.
