Sochi Authorities Promise to Restore Road on Maly Akhun

The Municipal Control Center of Sochi commented on the road collapse in the Maly Akhun microdistrict.

Recall that since 2024, residents of the microdistrict have been seeking intervention from the Sochi administration regarding work on Novorossiysk Highway, where large-scale construction of several VIP houses has been underway. Local residents pointed out the problem: the microdistrict could lose its only road. And that happened—a ground collapse occurred.

According to specialists from the administration of Khostinsky District, on February 4, a working group consisting of employees from the Road Administration, representatives of the Khostinsky District administration, and the TOS «Akhun» (Territorial Public Self-Government) visited the site.

— They identified the cause: due to ground collapse at the construction site by the developer. A cavity of more than 20 cubic meters formed under the asphalt layer. They determined which materials could be used to restore the road failure. Restoration will begin today, — reports the MCC of Sochi.
