Skating Rink on Lybedskiy Boulevard to Close on February 20

The skating rink on Lybedskiy Boulevard will operate until February 20. This was reported by the city hall, citing the Department of Physical Culture and Mass Sports of the Ryazan City Administration.
«The rink was created as part of the »Ryazan — New Year Capital 2026« program and is equipped with a cooling system that allows it to maintain ice even in slightly above-freezing temperatures. The ice arena measures 40 by 20 meters and can accommodate up to 50 people. Nearby, there are rental and skate sharpening points, changing rooms, and toilets,» clarified the city administration.
The rink is located on the site of a metal Christmas tree that began being dismantled in November last year. It opened on December 13, the day the «New Year Capital — 2026» was launched in Ryazan.
