According to the forecast from the Volga Hydrometeorological Service, temperatures will drop to -22 to -27°C (-8 to -17°F), and in some areas, thermometers may show -32°C (-26°F). The reason is the Siberian Anticyclone Ridge.

How will the frost affect schooling?
Recall that in Samara schools, there is a system for canceling in-person classes:
At -25°C (-13°F), grades 1–4 are switched to distance learning.
At -27°C (-17°F) — grades 1–8.
At -30°C (-22°F) — all classes, from 1 to 11.
Kindergartens operate as usual.
Note that if parents still bring their child to school, they must be accepted, provided with classes and hot meals.
Authorities recommend that residents exercise caution, dress warmly, and if possible, limit prolonged outdoor stays, especially during nighttime and morning hours.
