On the night of February 4, a UAV was shot down in the Millerovsky District. In the morning, drone attacks were repelled in the Millerovsky, Chertkovsky, Kasharsky, Sholokhovsky districts and in Kamensk-Shakhtinsky. There was no information about damage.
In the morning, thousands of Rostov residents were left without cold water due to a water main rupture. This affected residents of the Zapadny residential area and the Leventsovka microdistrict.
In Rostov Oblast, the sheep population dropped sharply in 2025 — by 37.5%, to 486,400 head. The reason is a decline in demand for wool. The region will transition to meat sheep farming.
The wife of a Rostov resident who died in the strike on Leventsovka on January 14 is in the hospital. Later, she and her son will temporarily move to a flexible housing fund: their apartment was destroyed.
Residents of Rostov Oblast may be charged under the treason article for publishing footage of the aftermath of a drone attack. Since August, Don residents have been banned from filming and publishing in the media or on the internet the use and consequences of missile and UAV strikes, the operation of air defense and electronic warfare systems, and the deployment and activities of military personnel. The ban does not apply to government authorities and materials obtained from official sources.
The Aksay District Court has begun hearing the case of Roza Kuznetsova. Subordinates accuse the director of the Krasny Sulin Special Boarding Home of corruption; Kuznetsova herself had suspected them of embezzlement.
Scientists propose using juvenile fish obtained through cryopreservation of sperm for fish reproduction in Rostov Oblast. The Southern Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences (SSC RAS) has its own cryobank.
