Rostelecom equips Krasnodar parliament with optical internet and cyber protection

Rostelecom has equipped the building of the Legislative Assembly of Krasnodar Krai (ZSK) with modern optical internet. Starting January 1, 2026, the company is providing ZSK with two dedicated data transmission channels — a primary and a backup — each with a speed of 1 Gbit/s, and is also protecting the department«s network infrastructure from DDoS attacks.

In the building located at 3 Krasnaya Street, Krasnodar, a stable and secure Wi-Fi network has been set up for deputies and staff. To ensure reliability, Rostelecom specialists have implemented a function to automatically switch traffic to a backup fiber-optic line if the main line is damaged. This eliminates downtime and guarantees uninterrupted operation of all digital systems.
