In the Trans-Ural region, water levels in the Tobol River may exceed the norm in spring 2026. Such is the forecast from Roshydromet (Federal Service for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring). The website lists regions where above-normal maximum water levels during spring floods are possible on rivers, including the Tobol in Kurgan Oblast.
