Robert Kennedy Jr. confirms no contact with Caroline Kennedy after niece's death

Robert Kennedy Jr., the U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services, admitted that he has not spoken with his cousin Caroline Kennedy after the death of her daughter Tatiana Schlossberg, as reported by media.

Tatiana Schlossberg died in late December at the age of 35 from acute myeloid leukemia. She was the daughter of Caroline Kennedy and Edwin Schlossberg, and the granddaughter of President John F. Kennedy.

Kennedy Jr. made this statement at a charity event in California, responding to a question about whether he had communicated with Caroline after the tragedy. He replied: «Not recently.» And added that everyone is praying for them.

Robert Kennedy Jr. was absent from Tatiana«s funeral, which took place in New York in early January. On the same day, he announced changes to children»s vaccination rules, reducing the number of mandatory vaccines.

Before her death, Tatiana Schlossberg publicly criticized her cousin. In an essay published in November, she called him a «disgrace to the family» and condemned his stance on vaccines, as well as the impact of his appointment on the healthcare system, which she personally encountered during her treatment.

Caroline Kennedy also spoke harshly about her relative. During the confirmation hearings for his candidacy last January, she stated that he is «not fit» to lead health policy and called him a «predator» craving attention and power.

This public condemnation was a rare step for Caroline, who had previously stayed away from other family members criticizing Kennedy Jr. for supporting conspiracy theories and aligning with Donald Trump.
