On January 27, in Rostov Region on the M-4 Don highway, a mass accident occurred, and thousands of residents of Aksaysky District were left without electricity. We tell you what other important news you might have missed yesterday.

On the morning of January 27, at the 1029th kilometer of the M-4 Don highway in Aksaysky District, three accidents occurred. The incidents involved seven vehicles, including a commuter bus. This caused a six-kilometer traffic jam. Later in the day, near Rostov, the road began to be snowed in, and there was black ice on the pavement. Because of this, a 14-kilometer traffic jam grew.

Thousands of residents of Aksaysky District were left without electricity due to a transformer failure.

In Rostov Region, after numerous complaints from residents, a reform of street trading, including the operation of summer cafes, is beginning. The region will approve areas where trading facilities can be placed. Standards for their appearance will also be established.

The authorities of Rostov filed a lawsuit against the company that manages paid parking in the city. Some parking meters were removed from the streets due to sanctions, and this violates the terms of the agreement signed with the city administration.

Applications for compensation for vehicles damaged in UAV attacks will begin to be accepted in March 2026. Before that, «all regulatory procedures» need to be completed.
