Riazan is falling into decline and needs to be saved, wrote Riazan resident Tatiana Kurapova in comments under a post by Governor Pavel Malkov on Telegram.

She said that she has been living in Yekaterinburg for many years, but visits our city twice a year. And she is not pleased with what is happening to it. «I see the collapse and decline of my small homeland! And reading your posts, it seems like we are talking and thinking about different cities!» she wrote to Malkov.

In December and January, she stayed in Riazan and saw that the roads are not cleaned, and the elevators in the underpasses across Moscow Highway are not working.

«My mother lives on Moscow Highway, Velikanova Street, and there it»s impossible even to approach the garbage containers! An 85-year-old person, to take out the trash, has to ask strangers, because she fell into a snowdrift and barely got out,« laments the Riazan woman.

She is convinced that it is necessary to talk about real problems and try to solve them collectively.

«I wish you luck in reviving the Riazan region, and after all, Riazan is older than Moscow and Riazan»s history is unique! Help preserve and lift up our city from its knees!« called Tatiana Kurapova.

Earlier we wrote that due to an uncleaned road in Shelukhovo, a woman died. She had a heart attack, and the ambulance could not reach her quickly. Also, Riazan residents called on city authorities to monitor snow removal near school 76 in Kalnoye — children have to go to school through snowdrifts.
