Residents of Sverdlovsk Oblast Invited to International Youth Festival
The International Youth Festival in Yekaterinburg will bring together 10,000 participants from 190 countries, and residents of Sverdlovsk Oblast are invited to register.

Registration for the 2026 International Youth Festival has opened in Sverdlovsk Oblast. Five thousand residents of the region will be able to attend the events for free.
The festival is open to everyone aged 14 and older. Applicants must fill out a questionnaire and write a motivational essay. Submissions are accepted until August 10.
«It is important for us that residents of Sverdlovsk Oblast become full participants in the International Youth Festival that their region is hosting. They will tell about their land, present ideas, communicate, make friends, and establish useful contacts with young leaders from 190 countries. Yekaterinburg is welcoming the world, and we want the people of Sverdlovsk to feel part of this cultural dialogue,» said Dmitry Ivanov, Director General of the World Youth Festival Directorate.
The festival will feature exhibitions, excursions, cultural and special programs, a gastronomic area, and open meetings with representatives from various fields. Participants who pass the competitive selection will receive free transfers to the festival venue and personalized accreditation.
The International Youth Festival will take place in Yekaterinburg from September 11 to 17, 2026. It will bring together 10,000 participants from 190 countries: half from Russia and half from other states.
