Complaints about the lack of cleanup are coming from various districts of the city:

On Surikova Street, garbage bins are also overflowing with waste.

- In the Sovetsky District, the problem was recorded in the Vysokovo residential complex on Respublikanskaya Street, near building No. 6 on 60-letiya Oktyabrya Boulevard, as well as in courtyards on Timiryazeva and Nevzorovykh Streets.
- In Avtozavodsky District, waste has not been collected from Shnitnikova Street (near buildings No. 5, 3, and 1) and Strokin Street (building No. 10).
- In Nizhegorodsky District, garbage has been accumulating for a week at Usilova, 2, as well as near building No. 7 on Suetinskaya Street.
- In Leninsky District, on Dargomyzhskogo Street, buildings 4 and 6, waste has not been removed for more than four days.
- In Prioksky District, residents point to a problem on Surikova Street, between buildings 2 and 6.
Residents share specific observations. «Dargomyzhskogo Street, buildings 4 and 6. Garbage has not been removed for more than 4 days. On the morning of 4 February, a tractor was used to transport garbage in a bucket, but all the unpackaged waste flew around the street. The workers did not explain why or what would happen. There is also no answer about when a garbage truck will come,» a resident of Leninsky District reported.
«Surikova, between buildings 2 and 6. The dump is already overflowing,» added a resident of Prioksky District.
The regional operator Nizhekolgiya is responsible for waste removal from container sites. The organization explains delays by snowdrifts on access roads, which prevent heavy equipment from passing. They also cite parking of cars in narrow places and the fact that bins weighing over 100 kg (over 220 lb) end up embedded in snow.
At the same time, many residents write on social media that the driveways in their courtyards are cleaned daily and there are no obstacles for garbage trucks. The mayor«s office of Nizhny Novgorod notes that the main roads have been cleared down to the asphalt, and road services are working in an intensified mode.
According to forecasts, snowfall may return to Nizhny Novgorod this coming weekend, potentially worsening the cleanup situation.
