Renders reveal descent from Gorky Park to Kremlin Embankment

In Kazan, a proper walkway will be built on the slope from Gorky Park to the embankment, where currently only a footpath exists. A viewing platform will also be added there. Renders of the project were shared by the city«s chief architect, Ilsyar Tukhvatullina.

According to the renders, the descent from Gogol Street to Podluzhnaya Street will be finished in beige tones with accent lighting. In the area near the «Love» art installation, a viewing zone overlooking the Millennium Bridge and the Kazanka River will be created.

The concept for the pedestrian connection between the streets was developed by the Kazan Development Institute. The start and completion dates for the construction work are currently unknown.
One of the renders also depicts a funicular on the cable car line — a project that was presented to Tatarstan«s head Rustam Minnikhanov in 2023. It is planned to include three stations: near the Uram extreme park, the Ak Bars Arena stadium, and Gorky Park. The project»s implementation is scheduled to be completed by 2030.
