Pyaterochka Responds to Rat Complaints at Chelyabinsk Manhattan

After a publication by 74.RU, trading company X5 Group commented on the situation with rats near the Pyaterochka store in the Manhattan residential complex. Earlier, local resident Yulia said rodents had taken a liking to the area next to this supermarket.

In response to a request from 74.RU, X5 Group reported that after being contacted by the editorial board, they conducted an unscheduled inspection of the store.

«Based on the results, no violations were found. We will continue to monitor the situation and carry out additional deratization of the area near the store,» — the company said.

For reference, resident Yulia of the Manhattan residential complex complained about an invasion of rats near the building where Pyaterochka is one of the tenants. According to her, rodents regularly appear near the store. The woman repeatedly contacted the management company, but they explained that the supermarket building is not part of the residential complex and is privately owned. The Chelyabinsk administration said that the property owner is regularly issued orders to carry out deratization. However, based on residents« complaints, the problem has not yet been fully resolved.
