Pyaterochka Raffles Off Million Points at Hockey Match
During the hockey match, fans were able to not only spectate but also engage in the prize draw.
At the home match of the hockey club Avtomobilist, Pyaterochka turned the arena into a hub for fans. The main event on January 22 was the raffle of a million points for the X5 club card. During the break, five lucky winners were randomly selected to get a chance to step onto the ice and compete for a big prize. The task was not easy: to score a puck into the goal on the first attempt.
The winner was Yekaterinburg resident Pavel Dyachenko, a long-time fan of Avtomobilist and a regular customer of Pyaterochka. He claimed the 1,000,000 points for the X5 club card.
«I regularly shop at Pyaterochka and almost always attend my favorite club»s matches—it«s part of my life. Today, I just decided to participate in the activity and didn»t expect at all to step onto the ice and win the main prize,« shared the winner.
Also, the retail chain Pyaterochka set up an interactive brand zone with activities for fans. Those who made purchases in the chain«s stores for 650 rubles (approximately $7 at current rates) or more in January could register their receipts on the spot and participate in a raffle for prizes and branded jerseys with player autographs.
Anastasia Salomatnikova, head of the marketing department for the Volga trading region of the Pyaterochka retail chain, noted that similar promotions will continue.
