Pyaterochka Inspects Store After Rat Complaints in Manhattan Complex

In Chelyabinsk, after complaints about rats near a Pyaterochka supermarket in the Manhattan residential complex, the retail company X5 Group organized an unscheduled inspection.

As reported by X5 Group, no violations were detected during the inspection. The company intends to strengthen control over the situation and conduct additional deratization of the surrounding area. “No violations were found as a result. We will continue to monitor the situation and conduct additional deratization of the area near the store,” the company stated.

Earlier, a resident of the Manhattan complex, Yulia, complained about the regular appearance of rats near the store. Appeals to the management company yielded no results — they explained that the supermarket building is private property not belonging to the residential complex. The Chelyabinsk administration noted that the property owner had repeatedly received orders requiring deratization, but the problem could not be completely eliminated.
