Prosecutors Catch Voronezh Firms Failing Winter Cleanup
The prosecutor«s office highlights results from its inspections of winter maintenance work.
Prosecutorial inspections of street and yard cleaning in Voronezh continue. A week ago the supervisory authority identified five management companies in the Zheleznodorozhny district and one in the Sovetsky district that failed to maintain order near houses. Now it has been revealed that nine administrative cases have already been initiated regarding violations in the maintenance and cleaning of adjacent territories, sidewalks, and roads.
In addition to the Zheleznodorozhny and Sovetsky districts, violations were found in the Levoberezhny, Leninsky, Kominternovsky, and Tsentralny districts. Besides the administrative cases, 22 orders to eliminate violations of the law were issued, of which 13 were to management companies, four to schools and kindergartens, and two to municipal institutions.

The prosecutor«s office promises to continue monitoring the city»s cleaning situation after bad weather. This is especially relevant in light of the approaching heavy snowfall in Voronezh.
