Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, the former Duke of York, is having sleepless nights over new allegations linked to his friend Jeffrey Epstein. According to sources close to the prince, he fears that these claims could lead to another costly settlement, years after he reportedly paid around $15 million in a previous lawsuit.

The new allegations concern events of 2010. According to claims, Epstein arranged a trip to the UK for a foreign woman in her early 20s to meet Andrew for sex at his residence, Royal Lodge in Berkshire.

These statements come amid growing pressure from the British government, which is urging Prince Andrew to cooperate with US investigators probing the human trafficking network created by Epstein and its links to prominent figures.

Representing the woman is Florida attorney Brad Edwards. According to him, after a night spent with Prince Andrew, his client even went on a tour of Buckingham Palace. Edwards, who represents over 200 Epstein victims, previously handled Virginia Giuffre«s case.

Giuffre accused Andrew of sexual assault in London in 2001 when she was 17. The prince has always denied the allegations but settled the case out of court without admitting liability for a reported $15 million. Virginia Giuffre died by suicide last year at age 41.
A source close to the situation claims that Andrew «is sweating bullets» at the prospect of a new settlement. «He has already paid a huge price once. The fear is that history could repeat itself if the case goes to court,» the source added.
Edwards said he is considering filing a civil lawsuit on behalf of the second woman. He previously stated that the Giuffre case showed how Epstein used his influential acquaintances to exploit young women — an accusation Prince Andrew has always denied.
Meanwhile, British ministers are publicly calling on Andrew to give testimony to US investigators. Steve Reed, the Secretary of State for Communities, said: «Andrew definitely has information about what happened, and he should testify because the victims deserve and need it.»
When asked about the possible extradition of Prince Andrew to the US if a request were made, Reed replied that it is a «purely hypothetical» situation and it is premature to discuss it.
According to legal sources, the growing pressure means that Andrew Windsor again has «15 million reasons to worry» — a new civil case could be devastating for his finances and reputation, even if it doesn«t go to trial.
