Today, a short-term power outage was recorded in Pechengsky District, according to the official Telegram channel of the Murmansk operational headquarters.

— Damage occurred to the first busbar system at the 150 kV «Zapolyarny» substation. According to «Oboronenergo», power supply will be restored within an hour.

Recall that in Murmansk Region, a power supply line was installed on temporary supports. In Murmansk and Severomorsk, electricity has been restored.

Andrei Chibis announced the cancellation of electricity payments for northerners during the power outages.

Due to the accident, a state of emergency was introduced in Murmansk Region. The Murmansk Region Prosecutor«s Office has already launched an investigation into the mass power outages. A criminal case has been initiated. It turned out that the fallen power line poles had been in service for almost 60 years.
