Work on restoring the power line supplying electricity to Murmansk and Severomorsk has been fully completed. The network is now operating normally with no disruptions.

During the emergency restoration work, specialists replaced six power line poles. Five collapsed due to severe weather, and another defective pole was discovered during inspection and also replaced.
Energy workers worked nonstop for almost two weeks: day and night, in freezing temperatures and gusty winds. Significant assistance was provided by staff of management companies, housing and communal services, resource supply organizations, and hotline operators.
The Northern Fleet, Leningrad Military District, EMERCOM, Rosgvardia, private companies, and volunteers joined the work and assistance to people.
Recall that parts of Murmansk and Severomorsk were again left without power on 31 January. Chibis reported on the causes of the repeated outage.
The Murmansk Region Prosecutor«s Office has already launched an investigation into the mass power outages in the region on 23 January, and a criminal case has been opened. It emerged that the fallen power line poles had been in service for almost 60 years.
