Police have expanded the search for Nancy Guthrie, the mother of TV host Savannah Guthrie, who went missing in Arizona. According to reports, the possibility of kidnapping for ransom has not been ruled out, but no demands from the kidnappers have been received so far.

«We don«t know where she is,» Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos said at a press conference. He noted that the investigation has hit a dead end and the search is already underway far beyond her million-dollar home. Savannah Guthrie, upon learning of the incident, immediately flew to Arizona and temporarily stepped away from her professional duties.

Investigators have not disclosed whether any ransom demands were received.

The sheriff announced a $2,500 reward for information that helps solve the case. He emphasized that although there is currently no data indicating a connection between the disappearance and her daughter«s fame or wealth, that version is also being considered. «We never rule anything out. We continue to look at everything,» Nanos said.

Nancy Guthrie was last seen at home on Saturday evening. When she did not show up at church on Sunday morning, a missing person report was filed. Her wallet, phone, and car remained at home. Police ruled out the possibility that she left on her own due to dementia issues, emphasizing that Nancy has mobility problems.

Police admitted they do not know where the missing woman might be.
