The graffiti titled «Fire» is located on the wall of house No. 40 on Korolenko Street. Pokras Lampas created this work in 2021 as part of the «Mesto» festival (a street art event), dedicating it to the theme of old houses being destroyed by fires.
The artist aimed to draw attention to the importance of preserving and restoring historical buildings. In the year of creation, some urban defenders criticized the work, considering it too harsh for a city where the loss of architectural heritage is particularly painful.
After the completion of restoration work, the mural was returned to its original place, but now it exists in an altered form: the middle part of the composition is missing, and between the canvases with calligraphy there are window openings.
