Pipeline failure leaves nearly 100 apartment buildings without heat in Volgodonsk

In Volgodonsk, due to a network failure, 80 apartment buildings have been left without heating. This was reported in her Telegram channel by Antonina Pshenichnaya, Minister of Housing and Utilities for Rostov Region.
According to her, the accident occurred on the evening of January 28 on a section of large-diameter heating pipeline at the intersection of Mira Avenue and Mikhail Koshevoy Street. Initially, heat was expected to be restored by 06:00 on January 29.
However, around 09:00, Pshenichnaya announced a new estimated deadline — 20:00.
«On Mira Avenue, continuous work to pump water from the heating collector went on all night. By 07:00, the pumping was completed, specialists localized and identified the damaged section of the heating main. Specialists are doing everything possible for the quickest restoration of heat supply,» she said.

As reported by 161.RU, in Rostov, residents of the building at Stachki, 215/2 have been living without proper heating since mid-December — when an accident occurred at TPP-2. The temperature drops to 16–17 °C (61–63 °F).
