Pervy Spetstrans Owner Konstantin Yazyev Dies at 49
On July 20, Konstantin Yazyev, the main shareholder and strategic head of JSC Avtopark No. 1 Spetstrans (part of the Pervy Spetstrans group), passed away. He was 49. The death announcement was made in the company«s official channel on July 21.
Yazyev was born in Leningrad (now St. Petersburg) and graduated from Saint Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering (SPbGASU) with a degree in Automobiles and Automotive Industry. At age 22, he began working at the Spetstrans mechanical plant. Later, he held positions as deputy head of the operations department, deputy general director for development, and executive director at JSC Avtopark No. 1 Spetstrans. In 2025, he became chairman of the company«s board of directors.
Pervy Spetstrans noted that Yazyev was a strong leader and a high-level professional who was respected by colleagues and partners. «He made a huge contribution to the development of the company and the waste management industry, formed a reliable team, and laid down the working principles that the enterprise will continue to follow,» the statement said.
The company emphasized that Yazyev«s death will be a heavy personal loss for the team. However, the enterprise continues to operate as usual, and all obligations to employees, partners, and residents will be fulfilled.
According to the SPARK system (a Russian database of legal entities), Konstantin Yazyev owned more than 40% of the shares of JSC Avtopark No. 1 Spetstrans. Another 9% was owned by Anatoly Yazyev. The remaining shares are distributed among Nikolai Kolychev, Ilya Kolychev, and Vladimir Belitsky. Daria Kharina has been appointed head of the company. For 2025, the company«s revenue was 3.5 million rubles (about $41,200 at current rates), with a loss of 60 million rubles (about $705,900 at current rates).
Yazyev also owned 33.3% of the shares in Spetstrans Mechanical Plant LLC (OOO Mekhanichesky Zavod Spetstrans). The co-owners are Andrei Korolev and Vitaly Zhurkovich (33.3% each). The plant«s revenue for 2025 reached 65.3 million rubles (about $768,200 at current rates), with net profit of 4.5 million rubles (about $52,900 at current rates).
