In the video, which was obtained by media outlets, co-creator and director of the popular series Outer Banks Jonas Pate is seen grabbing an assistant by the arm as she walks past him carrying an object. After that, he apparently begins to scold her, and actress Madelyn Cline intervenes.

From the recording, it is clear that Pate raised his voice, as the entire crew simultaneously turns around at the noise, and Cline jumps up to intervene. By that time, the director had already released the assistant, but the actress still voiced her opinion.

According to sources, the assistant was walking in the wrong direction, crossing the camera«s line of sight, which Pate had asked not to do. As reported, he repeatedly said »Don«t walk here» and eventually got angry, but according to the source, he did not shake the assistant or cause her harm.

Recall that when the story first emerged in October, sources reported that Cline«s co-star Chase Stokes also stepped between the director and the assistant after he allegedly shook her and yelled. However, this part of the video shows neither shaking nor Stokes himself.
Pate«s representatives were asked for comment, but so far no response has been received.
