Only Locals Knew This Slope: Muscovites Pick Best Ice Slide

Snow crunches underfoot, and cheeks turn red — you couldn«t imagine a better time for sledding. In Moscow, unfortunately for many, it»s becoming harder to remember this, but winter isn«t about garlands and arches in parks. Winter is the best time for sledding down snowy slopes! Now they turn into fun tracks for anyone who doesn»t mind reminiscing about childhood and catching the winter wind in their face. And for the children themselves, of course.
This week in our «People»s Rating« section, we asked you, our readers: which slope in Moscow gave you or your children the most vivid impressions this season?
You shared your finds.
«Rechnoy Vokzal,» advised Maria.
«I sledded near the Rostokino Aqueduct all my childhood. Only locals used to know about this slope, now people come from all nearby districts. The last time I sledded was a year ago, it was still free. But I sense it will soon be monetized,» wrote Anastasia. — «There are also good slides in Tsaritsyno (paid), Sokolniki (free), and Pokrovskoye-Streshnevo Park (free).»
We gathered your recommendations and added other popular slides in the capital to compile the most complete map of winter fun.
